The Writer's Suite has two bedrooms, a king size bed in the master andone doublesize bed in the second bedroom as well as a full size sofa in the living room. The suite has two bathrooms, a living room with a 32” High Definition flat screen television, a dining area, refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave. There is a 26” High Definition television in each of the bedrooms and locally made handcrafted furniture throughout the suite.

This room is an artistic blend of old and new. An antique desk recalls images of writers from days gone by. The uncluttered classic furnishings in the study inspire introspection and calm, while the light infused olive colored walls throughout the suite offer an openness and brightness that stirs a calling to creativity and quietude. Local art hopes to encourage the visitor’s own sense of inspiration – vistas and scenes that touch the heart and soul.

Memorabilia and books of old, as well as current fashion, set the stage for retreat and thoughtful atmosphere. In this room, we hope one could read old manuscripts, be nourished by Floyd County’s modern-day authors, have a cup of tea, write a poem, or even play a game of Scrabble. Writer or not, we hope this lovely suite, brings you relaxation and peace.
